Operations Executive

Operations Executive

We are an established, growing member of the aviation industry, and are seeking an experienced operations executive to lead our Demand Fulfillment process. As one of our leaders you will foster our mission-driven, self-directed culture, help define and maintain our operating framework, and contextualize objectives for your teammates.

Our management system is based on the philosophy of a self-directed workforce, guided by a small group of aligned leaders, with no managers or supervisors. Position Summary:

In this capacity you will lead a team that produces FAA-compliant machined components and electronic assemblies installed in aircraft cabins.  The scope of your responsibilities will include all core operating processes, such as planning, supply chain management, inspection, manufacturing, and logistics. You and your team will be accountable for product quality, on-time delivery performance, and compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate must be conversant in ERP utilization, master planning methodologies, and supplier and inventory management practices.  This position also requires a leader who prioritizes continuous improvement and is capable of inspiring others to do the same.

Qualifications and Critical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant operational experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of operations processes, particularly supply chain management, planning, and manufacturing
  • Experience with process analysis and systems management
  • Familiarity with AS9100 standards
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire others
  • A talent for contextualizing circumstances and aligning purpose

Material Inspector

Full Time, FLSA Exempt

Position Summary:
Receives and processes inbound material, parts, and products. Inspects parts entering or leaving the organization to ensure conformance to design specifications and requirements. Maintains inventory accuracy and traceability. Acts as a backup for material handling activities.

Typical Activities

  • Receives parts/product into stock
  • Performs incoming inspections per work instructions
  • Performs and reviews First Article Inspections (AS9102)
  • Material Review Board participant
  • Back-up duties for Material Controller
  • Manages and performs tool calibration in accordance to required scheduled intervals
  • Gathers parts’ data (quality, delivery, quantity, etc.) as required to assess internal and supplier quality rating

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Constantly moves about the inspection area and stockroom to access parts and inspection tools

Senior Electrical Engineer

The right individual will be part of a larger team composed of software, electrical, mechanical and test engineers all with the common goal of creating exciting new technology for major airlines and private/business jets. Our mission is to create and provide an integrated user environment for our customers by seamlessly merging existing and cutting-edge technologies. If you have experience in developing electrical architecture, PCBAs, and layout for Wi-Fi, HDMI, ARM processors, and AC and/or DC power supplies we are looking for you!

Position Summary:

Design, develop, and tests electrical designs in support of Rosen’s R&D efforts and Product Development cycle with minimal supervision.  This position is located at our facility in Eugene, Oregon.  Hybrid work schedules will be considered and relocation assistance available, if desired.

Rosen Aviation is looking for a key player to help grow our business in support of our current product offerings and development of new key technologies. The right individual will work with the design engineering group and customers to ensure products meet requirements by providing testability guidance and conducting verification, validation, and certification tests with minimal supervision.

Position Summary:

Works with the design engineering group and customers to ensure products meet regulations such as DO-160, DO-313, and Flammability requirements for aircraft qualification.

Desired Results:

  • Performs, coordinates, and supports confidence and certification testing, both in-house and/or at external test laboratories (periodic travel required to external test laboratories)
  • Writes and maintains all compliance documentation, including test plans/reports, materials flammability analysis, and similarity assessments
  • Monitors and evaluates product design and performance through software verification and product validation testing
  • Works with customers/FAA to assess and document product compliance with respect to applicable FAA certification standards and regulations, such as DO-160 Qualification, DO-313 Glass in the Cabin, and FAR 25.853(a) Flammability
  • Supports efforts in defining test strategy and tasks, estimating work, and monitoring progress
  • Test equipment is properly planned, maintained, and controlled
  • Support future certification efforts to ISO/IEC 17025 standards
  • Works with engineering and customers to align design efforts with certification standards and define confidence, verification, and validation testing requirements within the scope of product requirements and project schedule

Required Qualifications and Critical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 4 years of related engineering experience, including experience with software verification testing and hardware/product level testing
  • Excellent and concise technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Ability to organize efforts across multiple interfacing groups to complete tasks

Rosen Aviation is looking for an experienced software engineer to help us develop the next generation of aircraft Cabin Management Systems. The right individual will be a part of a larger team composed of software, electrical, and mechanical engineers all with the common goal of creating exciting new technology for major airlines, private/business jets, and new areas such as electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. If you have experience working in Linux and Android, doing object-oriented programming, and working with embedded systems, we are looking for you!

Architect, specify, design and implement software as part of the Software Team in the development of Rosen products.  Responsible for successful implementation and control of all aspects of the software life cycle.  Provides sustaining support for released products. Continuously improve our development process. Excellent problem isolation and solving.

This is a hybrid position centered at our facility in Eugene, Oregon.  Relocation assistance available if desired.

Required Qualifications and Critical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in software, computer, or electrical engineering
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience
