Material Inspector

Position Summary:
Receives, verifies, and processes inbound material, parts or products. Inspects parts entering or leaving the organization, as required, to ensure conformance to design specifications and requirements. Maintains inventory accuracy and traceability. Acts as a backup for material handling activities.

Typical Activities

  • Receives parts/product into stock
  • Performs incoming inspections per work instructions
  • Performs and reviews First Article Inspections (AS9102)
  • Material Review Board participant
  • Back-up duties for Material Controller
  • Manages and performs tool calibration in accordance to required scheduled intervals
  • Gathers parts’ data (quality, delivery, quantity, etc.) as required to assess internal and supplier quality rating

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection

Physical, Ergonomic and Environmental Considerations

  • Primarily works in a factory environment with constant exposure to noise, chemicals and machinery
  • Constantly positions self to inspect parts
  • Constantly operates verification and inspection equipment such as calipers and linear gauges
  • Occasionally moves materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds from inspection to stockroom
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

Our mission is to create and provide an integrated user environment for our customers by seamlessly merging existing and cutting-edge technologies. If you have or would like to gain experience in developing electrical architecture, PCBAs, and layout for Wi-Fi, HDMI, ARM processors, and DC power supplies we are looking for you!

Position Summary:

Design, develop, and tests electrical designs in support of Rosen’s R&D efforts and Product Development cycle with minimal supervision. This position is located at our facility in Eugene, Oregon.  Hybrid work schedules will be considered and relocation assistance available, if desired.

Mechanical Engineer

Rosen Aviation is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to help grow our business in support of our Cabin Management System (CMS) development. The right individual will be a part of a larger team composed of software, electrical, and mechanical engineers all with the common goal of creating exciting new technology for major airlines, private/business jets, and new areas such as electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. If you have experience working in electro-mechanical mechanisms, electronics packaging, and sensor integration, we are looking for you!

Architect, specify, design, and implement mechanical designs as part of the collaborative hardware team. You will be responsible for all aspects of the mechanical design cycle, including sustaining support for released products and continuous improvement of the development process. This is a hybrid position centered at our facility in Eugene, Oregon. Relocation assistance available, if desired.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 3 years minimum experience
  • 3D Parametric modeling experience of complex assemblies
  • Drawing creation following ASME Y14.5M
  • Microsoft Suite; Excel, Word PowerPoint

Operations Director

Operations Director

We are seeking an operations executive to head our Demand Fulfillment process, joining our other process owners to lead the company. In this capacity, you will help maintain our mission-driven culture, collaborate on the establishment and enforcement of company policies, and oversee performance of the operations processes.

Position Summary:

You will lead a diverse team assigned to produce a variety of machined and electronic assemblies used in aircraft cabins and will be responsible for the leadership, direction, and performance of all core operations processes, including planning, supply chain management, inspection, manufacturing, and logistics.  In this capacity you will be accountable for product quality, on-time delivery performance, compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements, and product gross margins.

Our management system is based on the philosophy of a self-directed workforce, guided by a small group of aligned leaders, with no managers or supervisors.  We are a mission-driven organization structured by process, not department, where purpose and team are prioritized over authority and title.  To join our team, you must be an outstanding leader, capable of contextualizing and teaching, not simply executing.  This position also requires the ability to analyze process performance, identify causes of underperformance, and implement effective corrective action, as required.
