Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for leading, directing and coordinating our program management team to implement and execute various projects within Rosen Aviation.  In this capacity, qualified candidates will lead and participate on a team accountable for financial performance, compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and timeline achievement.  Additionally, this position requires drive and passion to promote and implement our new and innovative customer collaboration model.  This new approach requires management of external consortium partners working collectively to create and achieve the customer’s vision.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for identifying and driving quality issues and improvements to closure in an ISO9001/AS9100 environment.  The position regularly interfaces with suppliers, internal processes and customers.  The position develops and analyzes quality metrics and coordinates resolution of quality issues both internally and externally with cross-functional team members.  The ideal candidate must have deep practical experience in the use of quality tools, excellent attention to detail and the proven ability to lead quality improvement projects. Professionalism, strong communication skills, a pleasant demeanor and the ability to deal with a diverse group of colleagues and clients in person, on the phone, and through email are imperative to the position.

  • Monitors internal and external metrics to identify quality issues
  • Investigates and provides resolution to quality findings using the CAPA system
  • Satisfies the needs and enquiries of internal and external customers related to quality issues
  • Prevents quality issues by studying trends and establishing and enforcing standards of performance
  • Tabulates and reports quality performance metrics to the organization
  • Evaluates adequacy of root cause analysis and trains CAPA respondents when root cause is insufficient

Required Qualifications and Critical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
  • 5 years of experience in quality field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • In depth knowledge of quality engineering tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, Problem Solving Techniques, Mistake Proofing, Data Analysis, and Acceptance Sampling
  • Ability to act as face-to-the-customer and supplier on quality related issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with cross-functional team leadership and influence
  • In-depth knowledge and audit experience in quality systems, specifically ISO9001 and AS9100

This position will perform typical administrative assistant duties for the organization (such as answering phones, delivering mail and performing routine office tasks) and will coordinate activities for the repair station (including customer communication, returned product management, updating process documentation and repair records and invoicing). The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to function as a team member to other staff. Professionalism, strong communication skills, a pleasant demeanor and the ability to deal with a diverse group of colleagues and clients in person, on the phone, and through email are imperative to the position.

Desired Results:

  • Receive customer returned product
  • Communicate (primarily via phone and e-mail) with customers on a daily basis to answer questions, authorize returns, provide updates, distribute quotes, re-negotiate ship dates, provide shipment tracking numbers, etc.
  • Document customer information in on-line repair application
  • Perform invoicing
  • Set repair priorities for technicians
  • Review and update metrics related to Repair Station performance
  • Administers the document control and training matrix for the repair station
  • Act as a receptionist; answer telephones, take messages, and direct calls
  • Perform routine office clerical duties, including travel arrangements, distributing mail, filing, photocopying
  • Accurately compile data, identify anomalies and provide the information and insights in a user-friendly format
  • Create, modify and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents
  • Day to day administrative support for the team

Required Qualifications and Critical Skills:

  • High school diploma
  • 3 years of experience in an office environment
  • 2 years of experience in customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly & effectively with all levels of personnel across all processes
  • A positive outlook, energetic disposition, willingness to accept change and a desire to continually improve

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in warranty/returns
  • FAA regulatory knowledge
